Aloha my friends!
On Saturday afternoon my husband and I arrived home from our amazing vacation to one of the most beautiful islands in the world: Maui!
You guys, this trip was fantastic! Actually, it was more than fantastic, it was one of our best trips yet! We have returned feeling refreshed and energized; I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about Hawaii that leaves me feeling centered and focused. I always return with a clear vision of my future and a feeling that I can achieve those over-the-top dreams after all. It’s magical.
I can’t wait to share all of our adventures over the next few weeks–adventures like spending the weekend in a perfect little cottage in the middle of the jungle, our days spent exploring the open ocean, and even checking off a few more items on my 101 goals list. Between all of the adventures, we were even lucky enough to spend time with some of our best friends who were in Maui at the same time as us.
For now I’m going to enjoy all the extra love and attention that my pups are showing me, catch up on a little sleep, and enjoy the Aloha Spirit that I’ve brought home with me.

Yes, the Hawaiian islands are gorgeous. I sat in traffic on Oahu for an hour today trying to get out of Lanikai. Paradise actually has some bad traffic!!

Yes, that Oahu traffic is the worst. 😦 It’s not so bad on some of the other islands usually. Although if I’m going to be stuck in a traffic jam, I’d rather it be in Hawaii 😉 Hope you enjoyed Lanikai!!
