Well the bags are unpacked, the laundry is cleaned and put away, the dogs have been showered with constant attention and hugs, and dinner has been made in my beautiful kitchen (technically we grilled on the back patio, but I prepared it all in the kitchen, so that counts, right?). I guess it’s official: the vacation is over. It’s back to the real world again, my friends.
My husband and I had an amazing time island hopping across Hawaii for our anniversary. We explored two different islands over 11 days and I have a lot of fun experiences to share with you: some absolutely magical once-in-a-lifetime experiences, some bucket list items, some hilarious moments, and some unexpected twists along the way.
As great as it was to be in Hawaii for the last 11 days, I have to say that there’s something comforting about coming home to a clean house, my own bed, and my three furbabies. Of course, comforts aside, I’m already counting down the days to the next vacation… 😉
Aloha!

I am missing Hawaii very much 🙂 Even though it’s nice and sunny in London, but Ican;t feel that ocean breeze in the air… but like you say, it felt nice to be back home 🙂
Can’tr wait to see some more pictures and hear about all the events. Planned and not planned, expected and surprises.. Where is the next trip taking you and Cody?
Hi Gramz! The location is still undecided. We know when we are going and have a handful of destinations that we are considering, but it’s still a little up in the air. 🙂
For some reason I’ve had a harder time than usual getting back to work today that’s probably due to the amount of fun we had. You planned an excellent trip (as usual). I’m very lucky to be by your side in this journey through life as we cross off goals together and see the world one vacation at a time.
I’m so glad that you are willing to help me reach my goals and help me to cross off my bucket list items one at a time. 🙂 You know I’ll do the same for you. Love you
