A Central American Adventure

Hola amigos! 

We have just returned home from an amazing adventure to Central America. We switched up our annual Christmas trip this year — instead of island-hopping in Hawaii, we went country-hopping — and in the process, added four new countries to our list. 🙂

It’s crazy to think that five years had passed since our last cruise, and as our embarkation date arrived we found ourselves ecstatic for the opportunity to sail the high seas again. And I’m not kidding when I say high seas… some of our nights at sea were a little rougher than I remembered. 😉 Thankfully, we mastered our sea-legs pretty quickly.

We “seas-ed the days” exploring new countries, new sites, and new beaches; and spent our nights drinking rum punch, trying our luck in the Casino, watching movies under the stars, and laughing until our cheeks hurt at the comedy club.

Looking back, the week cruised by (as it always does when you’re having fun), however, Cody and I are both looking forward to cruising again soon. In the meantime, I have a lot of fun adventures to share — from the jungles of Belize to the underwater world in Honduras — stay tuned!
